I am an educator with an extensive background in the performing arts.  As a child, I studied dance and piano, and in high school transitioned to drama and chorus. I graduated from  Florida State University, and I hold a valid Florida teaching certificate in Drama, grades K-12.

I have performed in community theatre and regional summer repertory productions around the state of Florida and have over 25 years experience serving as a director and acting coach. I taught Drama and Musical Theatre at Lecanto High School for ten years, where my Thespian troupe was nationally-recognized. Many of my former students have professional careers in the arts, most notably, actor Miles Teller. Some of my favorite productions I've directed are Footloose, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Damn Yankees, The Boys Next Door, The Diary of Anne Frank, Jekyll and Hyde,  Godspell, and Fame. ​​
